St Peter's Cathedral at the Dom Platz in Regnensburg is a prime example of Gothic architecture. It is also so much more. As intended by its designer, it not only only dominates the cultural center of the old city at the "Dom Platz", but seems...More

While visiting Regensburg it is worth visiting the centrally located Cathedral. It is unusual as it is next door to another interesting church built on the site of the original cathedral.

Beautiful, church, and it's in the middle of old Town, I arrived at the city by River Cruise, and this is a close walk.

Very beautiful church located in a square downtown, close to the bridge, restaurants, shopping area. It is worth a visit, inside it is very peaceful and quite big, so there are a lot of things to see, paintings, statues... I recommend to visit it.

We attended a mass in this gorgeous gothic church when our Viking cruise from Nuremberg to Budapest made a port call in this striking German city. The church itself is a breathtaking piece of classic archtecture that provides inspiration on its own.

Visit this cathedral and stand in awe. This is one of the greatest buildings of its kind in Europe and its story equals the Cologne cathedral.

Very stunning church as it's huge and has great coloured windows . The organ is beautiful even if it looks quite modern .

The church is magnificent in every architectural way. It also has an amazing organ and concerts are given fairly regularly, at least in summer. We caught one free of charge at 1:00 in the afternoon. Check the church for upcoming concerts, that what we did.
