This beautiful cathedral was built in 1200 and took at around 600 years to complete. It was originally built as a Gothic cathedral and later renovated using Baroque decors. What strikes you most when you step inside is the size of the huge support pillars in the church. Then you notice the detailed beauty of the stained glass. The ceiling... More

Inside and outside The Cathedral of St. Peter's is simple awe inspiring. Walk around to discover the architecture. Sit inside to marvel at the divinity of it all.

Yet another cathedral, we were most impressed by the stained glass, especially the blues which our guide told us to make note of.

We stepped in during Sunday service while the organ was playing. The inside is beautiful and the music echoed through the church.

Regensburg is the seat of the Archdiecoese and the seat of the Archbishop. Hence St Peter and Paul is referred top as a Cathedral. Middle Gothic architecture

This stunning cathedral is a must for lovers of gothic architecture. Set in the center of Regensburg, it is under perennial repair, but is still beautiful with its soaring exterior lacey stonework and amazing interior soaring arches and pillars. Beautiful intricate stained glass windows are utterly amazing.

Really satisfactory visit. Catacombs access was very limited. Had wheelchair access. Visit to the near by treasure museum also satisfactory.
