The Dom is an Augsburg landmark. It though is distinctly German and therefore very different to the churches you will find in other areas of the world. Well worth the time to drop in. Entry is free.

It was fairly early on a weekday morning, it was snowing outside, so we decided to have a look in the cathedral. Beautiful cathedral mostly from the inside. There is also a nice museum there. Free entrance to the cathedral itself and 4 € to the museum.

The previous reviewer said that photos were banned but I think that is only during services. Better outside than in.

Germany is not lacking in beautiful churches both inside and outside. I was respectful and did not take photos of the interior as is requested on the board when you enter. All the beauty remains in my mind.

Very interesting 11-14th Century church with much to see inside. Be sure to visit the garden on the grounds. Beautiful trees and flowers and a quiet place to contemplate.

Like any other really big and impressive catholic church. Very fancy with lots of pictures on the walls and sacrifice on the altar etc etc. Worth seeing if you are close by.

This cathedral is absolutely amazing. It's a perfect place to get some quiet time as well. So much to see and learn here. I would definitely go back for a second look.
