such aa wonderful, serene spot to chill out with family and friends! I have been there last summer, but I sure would want to visit in the winter!

When we went there there was a heavy snow, so there was the contrast of the white snow and the blue of the water and the green of the trees. For our lucky there was a swan just in the middle of the lake, it was more as we were seeing a painting, not a place, so magic it was.

Nice waterfalls, but they are a series of several small steps, not the one large fall I was thinking about. The views were nice for picture taking. Nice walk from the city, about 10-15 min walk.

It's nice, but not a must do. If you are aiming for altsee, it's on the way there, but if you are not going to the lake, than it's not really important place to go.

We started exploring the town, and we started following this beautiful paved path on the outskirts. It led us to the Lechfall. We had ice cream across the street, and then we wandered back to town on the other side of the river.

This is just a nice pit stop. A great view and very clean water. Limited parking is available. Was peaceful for us.

There are days when the color of the water is so amazing that you could just stay and watch forever. On other days after heavy rains the water can look brown and muddy. It is worth walking by especially when you are with children. You can walk down to the river beach, the nearby Walderlebniszentrum or across the river to... More

The walk there is pleasant and not very long. However the attraction itself is quite bland. Moreover places to enjoy the view were not there.

The downstream gorge is nice as is the plaque of Maximilian II. The pedestrian bridge that spans to Lech River is nice and gives you a good view of the gorge, but the best view comes from the parking area. The "falls" themselves are no more than a spill-well. We walked to the falls from our hotel in Bad Faulenbach... More

From foot bridge or viewing terrace admire this staired waterfall which swells even more after a rain. Walk 10 m downstream on the right bank to gaze upon King Maximilian bust in the rock face of the Lech gorge. Across the road drinks & food at the kiosk and steak house.
