Even in record heat it was a nice walk up the hill from the falls. Take water. The stations of the cross were much more ornate that anything I expected. We walked down the trail more directly towards town. The view in all directions was...More

This hike was mostly uphill but not strenuous or anything. When near the top there is view of the castles on a viewing platform. The hike starts right outside of downtown Fussen, by the narrow church. The statuary is really nice (as they all seem...More

I was in the area to see the castle and took a short walk up to see the views from here. They are amazing. Worth the short walk.

Absolutely stunning views. Quite a steep walk for about half an hour. If you are up for the walk though the views are absolutely amazing! Absolutely worth it!

It takes you only 20 minutes and then you can see Neuschwaanstein castle and neighboring lake from the top of the mountain. Lovely hike that doesn't take too much time!

Unexpected hike when a gentleman on the road suggested that we head up the small path on our way back from Lechfall and Treetops walkway. We had no waters and insufficient footwear, but the views were worth the steep hike.
