You need a knowledgable guide to appreciate many sites in Wurzburg, including the Old University, which today houses the law faculty of the university. It is a beautifully restored structure and one needs to have a guide explain the significance of the architecture and special features. Highly recommend this museum - Magnificent to walk around The beauty is breathtaking. The restorations are truly magnificent and worth a visit.

This is an old university, which was modernized. But there are still parts - carillon, oldchurch, which is today an auditorium, what you can visit, and have an immagination of the old days in the 16. century.

We passed in front of the Alte Universitat and decided to follow a group of students to have a peak inside . The extensive Renaissance complex was founded for the University in1582 by Prince-Bishop Julius Echter (architect G Robin). Southern the 1583 Church, which now serves as Festival Auditorium.
