Take a leisurely stroll along the river, enjoy the view of the fortress, snap a picture or two and watch visitors come and go from the river boats. It makes a nice hour or so break from hectic sightseeing if you have the time to spare.

We were on a river cruise and were delayed a while waiting for the lock to open. This bridge is one of 2 bridges used by cars getting into / out of the city. The bridge is good for alternative views of the fortress and for views up river to the Alte Mein Brucke. There is also a pleasant walk from this bridge along the river.

The bridge is not the specific attraction but is a great destination, even if to cross it and walk back to Würzburg on the west side of the river (note: you can't follow the river closely all the way).

Cracking little bridge similar on many respects to the Charles Bridge in Prague, but other than the statues and the roads it is no more than an interesting walk.
