Nice stroll

The place is well kept. Lots of seats protected from the sun. Easy to reach via public transport. Some renovation going on as well.

It is definitely nice to see the flowers and beautifully arranged park. But apart from that it is rather boring and it is doubtable what the entry fee is actually invested in. We went there on ascension day and it was really crowded. The entertainment is definitely tailored to the "second spring" group.

A really beautiful park with lots to see! The tulips in particular are beautiful! It was still windy and therefore a bit cold but the sun made the day really pleasant for a picnic! We even had some really good ice cream, the place also has a Cafe, place to buy beer and toilet facilities. Spent the whole day there... More

Big and spacious with toilet amenities, restaurants and playgrounds. This is our second visit. Previously we visited in June when the beautiful roses were blooming. Very scenic garden, took lots of nice pictures! Can't cover the whole garden in one morning as it is too big! Will come back again.

Came across this wonderful park today and could not believe that we had not heard of it before now. I will berate my Berlin friends when I see them. Young or old you will find plenty to do here. Fantastic play areas, wonderful lakes and streams etc etc. There is a miniature railway and the park is virtually access friendly.... More

This is a huge park and very beautiful right in the middle of Berlin. You pay 3euros for entrance but I think it is worth it. Many lovely gardens, bodies of water and even fun things for the kids. There was a very cute swimming area with a cafe for kids that had little pools and some fountains. There is... More

I went with some of my friends and their children, specifically looking for the playground area. We were not disappointed. After a 10-15 minute walk thru the park, which was beautiful, we arrived at the play area. While the kids played in the sand, climbed on the pyramid and ropes, ran thru the water feature, we the parents were able... More

This wonderful garden is visited mostly by Berliners. I'm surprised that it is not given more attention by the tourist bodies. Acres of parkland, lakes and formal gardens with plenty of seats for the weary or if you simply wish to do a bit of sunbathing! In the spring and summer there is a marvelous little train that takes you... More

Britzer Garten is a beautiful place and is amazing for nature lovers, photographers or anyone who just appreciates a peaceful, calm, natural ambience. I have spent many childhood holidays visiting it and we've always had lots of fun, especially in the themed playground and water play area. However, having visited again as a teen, it does not give me the... More

The Britzer Garten, a large park in the south of Berlin, was constructed for the Bundesgartenschau (Federal gardening exhibition)1985, in order to provide a new landscape park to the citizens of Berlin. It is still maintained on 90 hectares, and offers nature and garden architecture, playgrounds, lakes and hills as well as multicolored flower patches, matching the particular season and... More
