This summer palace was 5 mins walk from tchaikovskistrasse tram stop and quite unexpected. The visit spans 18th - 20th century as the palace was used for state guests in the 60s -80s eg Castro, Gorbachev We were the only people in the palace and the charming guide gave us a very interesting tour in English. Located in Pankow area this palace has interesting history and a good collection. The Palace is surrounded by a huge garden. The entry fee is 6 Euros. An audio guide is inclusive in that. However found the staff in the rooms during the tour to be impolite and uninterested

I find this Nice palace after looked and hunt a long time but found it in the end Beautiful Colour,garden is Nice and it is very beautiful to go around and take photographs off. I enjoy the visit

This Schloss was used in the GDR as a State Guesthouse and has a very interesting Guest List. There is an entrance charge and you may only visit with aid of a guide. Unfortunately the tour is delivered entirely in German. Some of the story boards contain English but a 1 hour tour is very long when you don't understand... More

Having visited the place in winter, I'd recommend going there during opening times of the villa, as in winter is only open on specific days of the week. The gardens were quite dull (maybe because of the season) and the villa was closed). The place can be a bit difficult to reach because of its location. It is in a... More
