My daughter and I did the Bowie bus tour, the walking tour and the Hansa studio tour over two delightful but exhausting days and savoured every second (over 8 hours in total !!). Being at the studio where Bowie recorded Heroes on the 40th anniversary...More

I would highly recommend the tours this company organise to any music fans visiting Berlin; especially if you love Bowie, U2 or Depeche Mode - the biggest names to record at Hansa Studios. I did the Bowie Berlin Tour which includes a tour inside the...More

We did the Bowie music tour, conducted by Phillipp. I pre-booked online with Thilo, all was very efficient and clear. There were about a dozen of us on the tour, starting off at Martin Groupious Bau (which I've probably spelt wrongly!) near Potsdamer Platz. Phillip...More

I have just been on the Hansa Studio tour. Being a huge fan of Bowie this was a big thing for me and it didn't disappoint. The guide Thilo Schmied is very knowledgeable and entertaining and an extra treat was that Bowie and Ziggy's sound...More

thanks again for the outstanding Hansa tour. I’m listening to the album "Heroes" again (for the millionth time), but all the sounds resonate in different ways having been in the actual space where this masterpiece was created. Thank you and keep doing your amazing work!

Led by Phillipp, this was a walking tour over three hours which supplied context to Bowie's legendary time in Berlin. Phillipp's enthusiasm is infectious and he is clearly well informed regarding his subject however for me his real skill was describing and creating the social...More

The walking tour met at Martin Grobius Bau, close to the Topography of Terror exhibition. Geographically we didn't cover a lot of ground from here, but in terms of content I was very impressed and definitely felt I'd got my money's worth. We walked to...More

Great tour with Thilo - both Hansa Studios and bus tour. Take the first one If you do not have time for both.

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today

If you do the Hansa studio tour you do get to go inside. We didn't on the Bowie tour as they were recording in the studio at that time
