I happened upon this market hall on a wander around Berlin. It was a true delight to find so many varieties of produce and products on sale - all of the very high quality and display! I'll definitely be returning.

It is small but well organized. Prices are a bit over the average, but they do have a wide range of healthy and typical food. It is quite easy to find and the entrance is free.

This is not really a true German market hall its more of an indoor market with its center isle displaying meat stalls, bakers, fishmongers, cheese, vegetable, dried nuts and fruits, each seem to be selling what they feel like selling. There is also a tea...More

This might be fine for those who likes a picknick in free air, enjoying the space of an old airport. Start your trip at Markthalle Marheinekeplatz. Nearby is Bergmannstraße, a very popular and ice neigborhood. Shopping and dining included. Well, have a look to the...More

If you are looking for quality and organic food, to consume on the spot or to take with you, do not miss this place. There are at least two bakeries that have several sorts of gluten free bread, for instance.

Was wandering through Kreuzberg visiting used bookstores, and this market hall was right next to one of them... so of course I had to check it out. I was there during late morning on a Sunday, and it was already pretty crowded. The Greek station...More

We do our weekly groceries at Marheineke Markthalle. Great selection, calm and friendly atmosphere, no fuss (a market hall is a market hall, not a club, in the end!) - recommendations: Knippenberg's cheese stall, Mokka at 'Goodcoffee'

We had really great Greek food here. I am half Greek and I have grown up eating Greek food my whole life and this was authentic food with a fun Greek family behind the counter. They also have octopus (I was too full to try...More

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
