Faboulous show "The one grand show"

Great show in Las Vegas style. Costumes designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Impressive dance and acrobatical acts. Not cheap but value for money

We've visited the place to watch the WYLD. The show was just good. I really had high hopes for it, but cannot say that I was overly impressed. If you take the price of the ticker (more than 70 euro per person) the show did not justify that price...The second half is really good but the first half was so... More

Thank you for your review and that you have chosen to rate THE ONE Grand Show with three stars despite your criticism. THE WYLD had its last show in July 2016. Since Autumn 2017 we play THE ONE Grand Show. 95 percent on TripAdvisor and 96 percent on Facebook say ‘thumbs up’. By the way, the highly-acclaimed New York Times... More

We went to see The One Gran Show by Jean Paul Gaultier. The whole show is merely a pretext for Mr. Gaultier to show his grand extravagant fantasy and creativity. Visually attractive but after 45 minutes, quite unappealing as a show. Overpriced.

It’s a real shame that you did not enjoy our new Grand Show. Our greatest wish is of course for you to also leave the Friedrichstadt-Palast with a smile on your face. Indeed, we actually manage this 95 per cent of the time. No matter how hard we try, though, we will never achieve 100 per cent satisfaction. Our shows... More

We hadn't any recommendation of this theater. We went by chance and it was a great surprise! The theater is beautiful, the biggest stage in the world, drink to take before the show, very friendly attendants, vision note 10, and the Stylist JP Gualtier has surpassed!

I thought that the inside of this building was something special, but it's not really. The show was good - very much above average with spectacular costumes. A nice evening.

I caught The One Grand Show by Gautier here and was in awe of the place. It's acoustics are marvelous! The show was a stunner from the beginning and didn't allow you to be distracted for a minute. Perfectly executed in terms of color, movements, arrangements and music!

The Friedrichstadt palast is a beautiful place, the staff is super friendly, I liked a lot the fact that you can order a drink for the intermission and it is waiting for you on a separate nicely served small table. The theater itself is very well organized, you can see the scene from most of the places, and the acoustics... More

Thank you for your review. We do of course strive to ensure that every single guest leaves the Palast utterly enthralled. Indeed, for the vast majority of people, we succeed in this. With half a million very different guests every year, 95 per cent are positive, 5 per cent like you are not. In cultural circles (where opinions tend to... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
