Great show

Really enjoyed the show, the theatre is amazing and a copy of retro Art Deco period, the dancers and the costumes were amazing, with live singing throughout.

Definitely one of the best shows I have ever seen! Saw The One Grand Show. Amazing performance and great seats. Even can order food and drinks for intermission in advance so you do not have to wait in line. Beautiful decorations and architecture. Definitely worth it!

Great venue! Was very surprised at the moving stage floor which was put to fantastic use during the One Show, and felt you would probably get a great experience in any of the seated sections without needing to fork out for the front row. Will be keeping an eye out for more shows here the next time I'm in Berlin!

We went to see "The One", a very spectacular and vivacious show, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The building, with its enormous stage and impressive public areas, is well worth a look.

Nice building with extraordinary windows, it is a place where they perform shows. At this moment is on show with costums from the French couturier JP Gaulthier.

If you are the show person - this is nearly the only one ( except Wintergarten, Potsdamer Strasse ) in the city. Tourist heaven, since language neutral and usually fine. The venue is one of the few surviving locations from DDR-times ( then their pride !) , and you feel it in the narrow and hard chairs. Berliners only go... More

The cast was great and the costumes fantastic. The songs sung alternating between German and English. The first half was a bit slow but the second half more than delivered. The stage/set has more than a couple of surprises of its own. Plenty of pre show eating and drinking options close by. Book (especially for weekends) as this is very... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
