Take a leisurely stroll along the gallery wall to view the unique and varied graffiti art. Some are abstract in meaning while others are well defined.

Me and my boyfriend went to see this and he was off the wall (excuse the pun, sorry not sorry) about it. He loved it and found it very interesting where as I was just like... 'ooo paintings. Thats nice'. If you're an art fan I'd say to go but if you are more interested in history etc and aren't... More

Definitely a must see if you're visiting Berlin! The East Side Gallery is one of the longest stretches of the wall that's still standing and it's been turned into a memorial through art. All the art along the wall has to do with the concepts of tolerance, freedom, diversity. It's amazing to walk along the wall and admire the art.... More

This attraction is free and easily accessible using public transport. We took the s-Bahn to Warschauer Straße station from Friedrichstraße station. There is a 300-400m walk from the station to the wall. There is a little gift shop close to the Oberbaumbrucke bridge. I would suggest walking along the wall away from the bridge towards Ostbahnhof station, here you will... More

Best to do when it isnt raining. Its a nice walk and interesting to see the art. Gives a good impression of the imensity of the wall. We took a boat from here so good to combine.

Super long walk but beyond worth it. Taking the time to take in each piece of the wall. We went around 10 am and walked about half of it, on our way back was when the crowd hit. I would recommend seeing this earlier to avoid photo taking crowds so you can truly enjoy the wall.

Really interesting little museum of the history of the wall and the build up to it being built up to the time it was taken down. Quite moving seeing some of the video footage.

Every time I go back to my home city I stop by and admire the East Side Gallery! While living in West Berlin , I would frequently visit the other side. Now years have passed and a wall still stands depicting discrepancies, anger, bewilderment, sorrow and despair!! When in Berlin, a tourist might want to look at " the Wall... More
