Our last day we decided to hit the park. It was Sunday and most shops are closed so a good free thing to do in Berlin. This park is massive and it was very enjoyable to stroll through the tree lined walk ways and worked...More

My partner and I set out at 6:30am and wandered the park for 3 hours and still didn't see it all. This is a beautiful garden, it's a shame that there was so much rubbish left behind from the weekend though. The history within the...More

The big park in the city center is popular with joggers, bikers and people walking through the woods, cars and tourist busses roam across the main avenue. Second World War brought heavy damage also here but as time has passed even the planted trees have...More

In the middle of Berlin and close to many attractions it is an attractive green space that lends a quiet civility to the city.

A beautiful park that was the start and finish of the Berlin Marathon! Even though it took me a while to find the right entrance on race day, the greenery relaxed me so much and I wasn't nervous at all!

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop

Walking in the park, seeing the gardens, Lamp Post Museum and many beautiful statues is free. There's a charge for going inside the Victory Column (Siegessäule), and of course for food and drink at the restaurants.
