Berlin seems to have a few flea markets... but which one do you choose? this one! Loads of great vintage stuff (hardly any new) on almost every stall, from 70s lamps to sixties toy cars, 50s pottery, watches and much more... i bought lots and could have bought more, well worth the walk!

Its a small flea market, centrally located, next to Tear garden and Sharlottenburg Tor, easily accessible by the underground. Its in a nice setting and you could find things of interest but it lacks local color and variety in street food.

We visited the Tiergarten S-bahn Flea Market in the early hours of the morning, it was very quiet as most people hadn't finished setting up their stalls yet. We were planning on coming back later during the day, if anything particular caught our eye. But we weren't really impressed enough to bother. If you're into old fur coats, knockoff WW2... More

If you're looking for a true flea market - head over to the one at Mauer park. This one did have nicer glass, pottery, clothing and collectables but the prices required a little haggling. We found some wonderful czech glass and pottery. The food and coffee at the airstream trailer food truck was outstanding.

It is winter time and not many stalls, but what we did find was overpriced and the sellers not friendly to us. Mostly junk and not what we thought, but was told in summer they display better goods.

Lots of antiques! It's overwhelming but really neat to see where a lot of the locals go for stuff. Recommend to go if you have time.

A weekend market that has something for everybody including it's share of entertaining characters. The fur seller had fabulous quality coats at affordable prices. There were several ceramic & art dealers along with all the usual second hand & bric-a-brac stalls, costume jewellery and collectable etc. I think you need to bargain hard, as the prices being asked were higher... Went on a Saturday morning. Easy to find as it's just down the steps from the Tiergareten S-Bahn. Around six long rows of stalls selling everything from small collectibles to paintings. Some grumpy smallholders who pass unintelligible comments when you pick up but don't buy. One stall has very good quality clothing selling Burberry and other top range second hand... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
