We attended the last concert of the Philharmonie for 2017-2018 and it was fabulous. Great musicians. The acoustics of this hall are sensational, hard to find a bad seat anywhere and reasonably priced compared to other great halls.

The air control is inadequate. We were 4 rows from the top of the building and it was like a sauna. The uncomfortable temperature overwhelmed the music

This was in the open air at the Olympic park easy to get to via S Bahn, sadly it rained. However, the music was excellent.

It is not the concert hall that matters, it is the Berliner Philarmoniker that matters. The building is a bit run down but the acoustics and the #1 Orchestra in the world is worth the ticket price.

One of my 'bucket list' items fulfilled. An excellent concert of two movements by Max Richter in a fabulous building with just the correct amount of atmosphere for what was a truly memorable night. The reception staff are really helpful and attentive and the bar...More

Disappointing in that it only opens between 3-6 pm each day. That's what a state subsidy does for you.

We attended a guided tour of the venue before a concert in the evening. It was nice to know a bit about the history and anecdote of the building. The concert itself, by Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Sir Son, was simply amazing. We leaned in...More
