We enjoyed an excellent guided tour of Tempelhof, the historical Berlin airport that was once a landmark of Nazi architecture and the lifeline for West Berlin during the Cold War (Berlin airlift). Our 'The Legend of Tempelhof' guide was very knowledgeable and passionate and made history come alive.

We booked this tour as we had heard about it on another tour (FatTire bike tour) Was very informative and interesting. 2 hours of walking around the THF terminal, up to the roof (8 or so floors up) and to the basement (3 floors down below) Well worth it if you have time and have interest in History, Aviation, etc.

This is review for a tour arranged by 'Get Your Guide'. This is probably one of the most fascinating tours I have been on. So much history, so many firsts, interesting architecture and even some secrets. In the 2 hours of the tour, you get to appreciate that Tempelhof Flughafen is much more than a ghost terminal. Commissioned by Hitler... More

I stopped by the airport on a Winter's evening. It was good to see how little had changed in the central courtyard. There was some sort of club at the end of G-2 where it meets C-2. I just had a quick walk around near the terminal. Nothing was closed off there. It is a very impressive building.

We have been to Berlin twice and visited all the main attractions. This is the best thing to see in Berlin. A very interesting tour, full of surprises. No better place in Berlin to learn all about the history of the city.

A fabulous experience. The airport was once the most modern airport and one of the largest buildings worldwide. The two hour tour covers viewpoints, rooms untouched since the war, parts that have never been completely built, and much more. Our guide Ralf was extremely knowledgeable and fun to listen to. Be prepared to walk a lot and climb some stairs.

Running over an old airport kinda feels like you are a airplane yourself. This area is impressive because it is so big and it's in the middle of the city. You should definetely visit this and take the time to walk around there is enought to see (even looking at the people that gather there.

Thank you to previous reviewers for tips on getting here. This was our third visit to Berlin and definitely the highlight of our trip. We booked tickets online the previous day and made our way there by bus (No 248) from Alexanderplatz. We got off at Platz der Luftbruke and as we were early had a welcome coffee in one... More
