This new building near the Gardarmmarket square is in a new building by Jean Novel, and worth the trip. It is small but comparison with Paris, but the architecture is interesting and the layout superb. All the high-end brands you want, but the food hall...More

The food is good here, but a little odd in that it seemed like all the seating was segregated. Like I didn't feel like I could get food from the crepe place, a drink from the market, and a dessert from the patisserie, and them...More

I do not have to tell that Galeries Lafayette is a wonderful French department store, but to the Berlin visitors it is a nice surprise to be able to shop at this prestigious store too. Located in the vibrant franzosische strasse in Berlin it is...More

Galeries Lafayette is an exclusive department store carrying French brands and labels, this is a smaller version. Just bought some macaroons here which was great. Only had less than a day and was under time constraints. But a definite must see.

Galleries Lafayette is in a small shopping mall. Downstairs there are a variety of eateries but the coffee shop and the selection of cakes is second to none. The coffee was good and the chocolate and almond croissant delicious. Go!

If you like good shopping do not miss Galeries Lafayette. Prices are expensive but if you look for sales you can usually find them. Food area is a must visit at the basement.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
