I was super excited to do the base flying and when I got there I was first stunned for the view: it has possibly the best view of the city (better than the one in Fernsehturm). The setup to just was very simple and fast. The crew is polite and very professional - and threw me from over 120 meters.... More

When "hanging out" I felt very safe and I can say.... It was such a feeling Falling down in high speed 👍👍👍 Just a "MUST DO" if you are in Berlin Just a little bit... More

Bought a ticket online 2 days in advance for a solo early jump when the weather forecast predicted clear skies. Ticket comes to €50/$60. Woke up today and it's pouring rain like no tomorrow. Called two different numbers and was advised that a refund is not an option, and jumps happen rain or shine. I advised the lady in Munich... More

We wanted to do something a little different in berlin. This was so much fun. Yes, there was a bit of a wait to do the base flying. (or rather, falling), but it was worth it. That initial shock of the freefall gets your heart pounding. My partner and I loved it.

I'm afraid of the heights a bit so that added some thrill too ! It's very pricey and you basically just get few seconds of falling but I don't regret it. I did it at night and I think I enjoyed it more that way. As others say, when you dare to do it once , you just want to... More

It'll take you some courage to get upstairs (34th floor) and do it for the first time: practically a free fall from a 100 m high building! But after we did it for the first time, both of us (father and son) did it again and again on several occasions, even twice a day. It's 80 € for the first... More

I did the night base flying. And I have to say the view up there before my trip was breathtaking. I splurged for the go camera and was not disappointed. The crew there were really friendly and help me with some pre-trip jitters.

When I bought the ticket they said: -We will bring you to the limits of your capacity – and beyond. And afterwards I felt: One more time!!

Jochen Schweitzer's base flying is the ultime thrill. Be sure to go during the daytime to get amazing views of yourself in flight. They are friendly and professional. Even though I got the jitters before my jump, they calmed me and ultimately helped me finish what I started. From the top of the Park Inn , where you will jump... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
