It is a typical stadium except for the history it invokes. Worth taking a tour so the history comes alive.

Great seats, relatively clean, great atmosphere, great matches, fun time! If you have some time beforehand go to the Glockenturm. A short ride with a elevator takes you up to a platform where you can overlook the entire Olympia Stadium and it's fields and surrounding...More

You will need a lot of imagination to make this pace worthwhile from a historical perspective. It's basically a big football stadium now.

We visited recently, we went on the tour of the stadium rather than just accessing the site. The tour was interesting, the guide provided a lot of detail and explanation of the history of the stadium and how it’s used nowadays.

I didn't see anywhere to store bags at the stadium when visiting in May. Worth asking when you get there.
