Called into this attraction in early morning. Amazing place with quite a history. The display in the Commanders room is excellent. The display was not afraid to mention WW2 and the role that the building played. The highlight for me was the walk up the...More

We were lucky enough to attend a concert here during the music festival. It is a fantastic setting, seeped in culture but also offers a brilliant acoustic sound and venue for a concert. We visited during the day and had a good look around the...More

Lovely building but they could make more of the history, most of the buildings had special exhibitions or art schools rather than anything letting you know what life was like there. No senior discount.

I thought I'd see some old cannons, and maybe a suit of armor, but to my surprise the citadel is a wonderful museum which examines the history of the area from the middle ages up until modern times. There are lots of interesting artifacts on...More

I've never been inside the Spandau Citadel. I am not commenting on that. This is a review on seeing outdoor concerts at this venue. Bought ZZ Top Tickets. I was super excited to see them. The concert was outside in the courtyard of the Citadel....More

The citadel is vast and fun to explore - we spent a couple of hours but would happily spend longer. Definitely go up the tower for great views.

Hi Kevin; There were no concerts on whilst I was there being in the middle of winter! But there is a restaurant and a cafe both serving alcohol, and knowing the Berliners and their love of beer, I can't believe there... More
