Harald provided an excellent tour. We are a family of five, with two teenagers and a special needs child (autism). Harald not only showed us all the highlights of Berlin, he also added in a number of sights that he anticipated would be of special interest to our children, such as the famous chocolate shop and the hotel with the... I went to Berlin for a weekend just before Christmas with my family as part of my mother's 70th birthday celebrations and as part of the trip she had arranged a tour with Harald- a 4 hour trip in his van round the city, getting out to get a close up look at the numerous points of interest along the... We're a family of 6 between the ages of 19 - 60 and had the most wonderful experience with Harald. His knowledge is limitless, his vibe & charisma is lovely and honestly we couldn't have asked for a better person to show us Berlin. I'd recommend him to all my friends and family!

My daughter and I toured with Harald for 2 consecutive days in January. Harald has an in-depth knowledge of Berlin and gave us two terrific tours of the city. His knowledge is extensive and he is a pleasure to tour with. We really feel like we know Berlin and cannot wait to return to tour with him and learn more.... More

We really enjoyed our walking tour with Harald. Despite the cold and drizzling rain, Harald provided an excellent, informed tour of Berlin, with a focus on the Wall and the Third Reich. We were so pleased we decided to walk with Harald rather than have a driver. Our tour was 3 hours but we would have liked to have made... More

We only had one free afternoon for sightseeing during a recent business trip to Berlin and harald managed to be ok myself and my work colleague in for a last minute tour which showed us all the essentials in the few hours we had! He was extremely friendly and informative and I was so grateful with what he showed me.... More

Travelled to Berlin in a party of 6 on the fourth of Dec, we choose Harold through positive reviews on trip advisor, we were not disappointed. He was excellent from start to finish, my mother of 79 was in our party and Harold made sure the tour was perfect for everyone's needs. The knowledge of Berlin Harold has is second... More

We booked a tour for 5 for 3 hours, as we already had covered some attractions before this tour, harald brought us to other location that we had not visit yet. It was great having harald as our tour guide, Its not cheap having a guide + driver (not 2 in 1 ) but worth your money as you will... More

Harald is very knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. I don't think we had any questions that he could not answer. We covered a great deal of ground (it was a Sunday so there wasn't much traffic). When I go back, I certainly would use him again.

So, my partner and I travelled to Berlin with his elderly parents. It was a struggle for his mum to walk far so although expensive for us we decided to take a private tour with car facilities. Having found Harold on trip advisor and seeing his reviews we booked with him. Harold arrived promptly and was warm and welcoming with... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
