Visited this not entirely sure what to expect, but this was interesting and providing a good deal of information without an abundance of reading being required. The models, mock-ups and images all helped to give a good history of Berlin

I was very happy that this museum didn't involve too much reading and instead gave you a device that talks to you at certain points when you walk around. Set in an old bunker and with lots going on. Very interesting. The only bad point...More

We brought the whole package. The first two museums were a huge disappointment. The first being on different methods of killing the second a horror trip. Gladly we endured these two for the museum in the bottom of the bunker. This was a great museum....More

This is an interesting presentation, but not a must see in Berlin for me. The bunker tour however was very good and definitely the selling point of the experience. This runs on the hour so be sure to factor that in if you want to...More

We just visited the museum. There was a lot to see, read and watch. The concise history of Berlin was fascinating and provided the background for the Third Reich exhibits. Standing in this Cold War bunker you really felt that you were going back in...More

We expected this to be more a story of life in the bunker during the war and expected the information to be totally dedicated to WW2, so we were quite surprised to find that it covered more history of Berlin, including information around the Berlin...More

Hi, sorry, that the museum wasn't, what you've expected. On the homepage, the flyers and so on we're trying to describe the content of the museum as good as we can. You can listen to parts of the audioguide, see the floorplan and pictures of...More

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can

neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
