Step into the fastest elevator in Europe to begin your journey through the eventful history of one of the world's most significant and popular squares. In just 20 seconds you will be whisked up to the 24th floor, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Berlin. No other place offers such spectacular views of the city’s most famous landmarks and historic sites! The Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Column and Bellevue Palace are all just a stone’s throw away. The open-air exhibition “Views of Berlin” will show you how this historic site has been completely transformed again and again: from a quiet green to the pulsing heart of a major city, from the height of luxury to a field of rubble, from a no man’s land to the new centre of Berlin. An experience for all the senses – and the same goes for our PANORAMACAFÉ on the 24th floor and spectacular roof terrace on the 25th floor!

We didnt find high interest to fernsehtower, and thus were delighted to find this fast track tower just in neighborhood of our hotel (marriott). Elevator was superfast, service ok and views fine. For those who like to see lot in short time.

We chose a beautiful clear sunny day to take the fastest lift I Europe to the top to take in the best 360 degree views of Berlin. All the main sights can be seen from the top and was well worth €6.50 ticket. Would only recommend on a good clear day

The lift is mega-quick - your ears actually pop when you're in it! The views are lovely and the drinks are nice too. The only issue was that the service was very slow.

An extremely fast lift but no views on the way up. Excellent views of the city from 2 floors, went on a very cold day so do wrap up.

We visited as an alternative to the Television Tower: its not as high but the views were still very good! €6.50pp got us up the towers and there is also a reasonably priced cafe at the top serving food and drinks.

A great place to see the skyline of Berlin and very cheap. The elevator is also a fun experience. You can also enjoy a cold beer with a great view!

As the queues were too long for the Television Tower, we decided to try this venue at the Potsdamer Platz. Absolutely fantastic Views across Berlin. Super fast lift gets you to the 24th floor with 10 seconds. Well organised attraction!

We chose this over the TV Tower mainly as it was so reasonable - 6 Euro with a Visit Berlin pass. The guide book given to us clearly highlighted all the sights and attractions and it only took seconds to reach the viewing platform - you hardly knew you were in an elevator! The exhibition of photographs on display were... More

Great place to view the whole of Berlin. Tickets are cheap from VisitBerlin (around 6 euros each) Once inside, you take the fasted elevator in Europe to the top and view is amazing!

Thank Jasmin M

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
