Zoo Berlin is home to over 15.000 rare and endangered animals representing more than 1.500 species and subspecies. It is the most speciose zoo worldwide. Zoo Berlin is located in heart of Berlin, opposite to the train station Zoologischer Garten. The tasks our zoos of today are faced with are many and diverse. And there is more than one reason to keep animals. Since 1844 visitors to Zoo Berlin can relax and learn. Comparable with a living, green oasis the zoo today lies directly at the heart of the city. Here you can relax and learn new facts about the most diverse zoological subjects as your interest takes you.

Incredibly easy to get to - it has its own well marked train station (which has lockers if you’ve got cases). Reasonable ticket price (€15 for an adult ticket) It’s a beautiful zoo with interesting buildings and well thought out landscaping. You feel as though...More

Me and my friend went to this amazing zoo today (19.11.17) because it was a national day in Germany and everything was closed except the zoo. We had so much fun! At around 15:00 there was a seal feeding show which was amazing! We were...More

This is the best zoo I have ever been to and I highly recommend to visit if you are travelling to Berlin. Entrance fee was around €21 for both zoo and aquarium. We spent all day here and particularly enjoyed the hippos and gorillas feeding...More

This is one of the nicest ZOOs in Europe. The aquarium is absolutely fantastic!!! The ZOO is large with many animals. Some of the expositions would be great after some reconstruction.

The place was clean and not too big. Animals had enough space. It was great to see the rhyno, white wolves, the bear and the pandas.

This zoo has to be one of the best zoo in the world. The facilities are amazing. The guides are clear and what is best is that you can get very close to the animals, much closer than any other zoos I’ve ever been too....More

A fantastic zoo! We spent hours walking around. It is well laid out and there are so many different species it's a really fun day out. Pandas and polar bear are big highlights but honestly it's all great!

It was great to see the panda although overall I am Very disappointed. Some of the enclosures were fine, however more than several of the enclosures were far too small for the animals they housed- for example the Jaguar and Rhino enclosures. Quite a few...More

A wonderful day with our 2 year old. Highly recommended. Would definitely suggest the combi ticket for the aquarium.

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop

Adults for Zoo only €15.50 (€21 for aquarium access too) If you have the Berlin Welcome Card I believe there is a discount but not sure how much. This is a great zoo and worth a visit. Enjoy.
