A chance conversation with a lady resident led me to discover this charming little farm located right inside the city. The farm is located across the road from the entrance to Dahlemdorf train station. Freie University has a center right next to the farm.We saw little school kids getting perhaps their first ever exposure to farm life. Even for adults, its... More

Fun not only for the little ones. I went in at random during a winterish weekday, no events at all. Good for runners, dog walkers, and in general lovers of animals and of quiet nature. There are workshops to look at, cafe, etc. - oh just wonder around, the space is green and rather extensive. Nice relaxing hour to kill... More

We went there on a weekday, so there were no special events. It's a really nice place for the little ones with the animals and play area.

Then went to the lantern festival for St Martin which was utter chaos and a waste of... More

Great place to visit! Its nearby Steglitz shopping area and it has a feel of complete transportaion to some rural East German village. Horses, cows, goats, pigs, chickens... They produce their own food there, there is small museum, great open space... Fantastic!
