We had a wonderful time in this casino. It has 5 floors, 2 of them are tables and the rest are machines. The tables were sometimes a bit over crowded but was still nice to play there. Some machines are really new and there's a great veraity. Staff was friendly, no free drinks, there's a bar in almost every floor... More

Visited here on a Saturday night and was very busy, but didn't really impact the experience - if not made it better. Staff were all great at explaining to people who didn't understand the games and we left up on money so a good evening!

Maybe the experience is different at night, but this casino was so boring and quiet during the day. There's a small fee to get inside and a mandatory coat check. The facilities themselves are very nice, with lots of slot machines, but there are only a few table games. The blackjack table wasn't even open yet, and didn't open until... More

Spielbank is a different kind of casino than what you'll experience in Vegas or Reno. There are no huge signs advertising shows and restaurants, it's strictly about the gambling. And to deter "riff raff," spectators and people just wandering through, there is a 2 Euro cover. That's good and bad. It's good because only people that want to gamble will... More

My friends and I went a couple of times and it wasn't bad, however it has a limited amount of tables. For example, 3 blackjack tables with 3 different bets, and the minimum buy-in to the poker tables is 100 euros. The staff however is very friendly and cool. You just have to beware from people playing Blackjack who have... More

The prices in the casino are just crazy, first you pay entrance of 2.5€ per person, ALL of the casino foods and beverages cost money, and insane sums also. A 1L water bottle costs 9€!!, 300cc beer costs 3€, 250cc Coke bottle costs 3.5€. Prices are just crazy and if you ask for tap water or anything that should be... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
