Not much to say about this bridge specially when there's construction all around it. I've seen more impressive bridges (Paris, Prague, etc). Nice route to take to get to and from the island and other attractions/sites.

The local construction has erected barriers such that I was not aware that I walked over the bridge. Sigh.

An old stone bridge that you will cross to-and-from Museum Island. Nice perspective on the center of town and the river.

This is an ordinary bridge that leads you to Museum island. There's nothing unique about it - it's just a bridge.

Pretty bridge which takes you over to Museum Island from the Hackescher Markt area. Fully open (up-to-date info. about Berlin is sometimes hard to get due to the constant building work!) The stroll takes around 10 minutes.

I was visiting the museums and wanted to visit the cathedral, so I walked across this bridge. It is lined with statues. An interesting spot for photos.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
