I had an opportunity to visit this old German town in the night hours - and been delighted how its architecture gems are highlighted by a successful design of lighting.

Here is the heart of the medieval city. Here are the cathedral, Rathaus, the building of the Chamber of Commerce and many old houses. I think most buildings were built more than 500 years ago. The whole square is very well preserved .

This is one of the oldest squares in the City. Some of the building date back to the 16th century. Well worth a visit.

Also very well restored after WWII. Nice place to walk through and to sit for coffee or drinks. Interesting markets every week.

I recommend at least walking through this area and seeing all the sites. There's always a local market or something special going on about 2 weeks a month. Good place to take groups, grab some food or beverages and take some nice pictures.
