Built as a place to get away from it all (without worries), Frederick the Great built an amazing palace. First you will notice the vines cascading as you walk up the stairs to the top where the palace sits. Amazingly he grew his own grapes...More

The Summer home of Frederick The Great, "Sanssouci" means "without care" and it is where Frederick went when he chose to withdraw from worldly problems and spend time with his dogs, He wanted to be buried here but due to the indifference of his heir...More

This beautiful, ‘small’ summer palace is well worth a visit. Take time to linger on the outside and catch a view of the Roman ruins. The time slots are in five or ten minutes slots so you need to be on time. Our time slot...More

The palace is located in an expanse of gorgeous gardens, as Frederick the Great fancied himself as not only a ruler and military man, but also someone who enjoyed the finer things in life--art and fine wines. The gardens are expansive, filled with fountains, and...More

Easter is a big deal in Germany, they could be closed. But then a lot of people have holiday then and it would make sense for them to be open. The only way you will know for sure is to email them.
