The Palace itself was beautiful with stunning detail, even though it was quite small. The grounds also beautiful, however nothing compared to Versailles. It was a shame all the renovations around Potsdam, this was a put off when visiting the new palace and the Orangerie....More

One can only enter the palace during a given timeslot, with only 5 minutes of forgiveness – if you arrive late, the next timeslot will already have gained access. Book tickets in advance for desirable times. The open rooms in the castle are elegant, but...More

Arrived there at 10:45 AM Sunday morning, bought the combo ticket plus the 3 euro photo pass. Was disappointed from the start, had to wait 100 minutes for my scheduled access. Wandered around the kill time. Was disappointed about the lack of directional signs, poor...More

A magnificent royal palace. The audio guide was helpful and easy to use. They have a system of timed tickets but it still seemed quite crowded and everyone else seemed to want to take selfies.

Potsdam is an easy day trip from Berlin and Sanssouci Palace is definitely worth seeing, with its opulent Rococo style. Tips: As others have mentioned, be sure to arrange for your timed entry to the palace and then BE ON TIME. I arrived at the...More

Nice to see the palace and the grounds, the audiotour gets old, but it is ok. Nice views rather small place. If you get the family pass you can see all the buildings for one price 49 euros, pretty good deal.

If you're in Berlin for a few days and want to see something a little different, Frederick the Great's preferred rococo palace is definitely worth a visit. The site managed to avoid both wars so basically everything you'll see is original. The best way to...More

The 1699 summer palace of Frederick the Great. A Baroque garden reminiscent of Versailles in France. A nice collection of 18th century French paintings. The largest palace in Berlin. Don't miss it.

Intended as a 'men-only' retreat the name has meaning. A place to get away from the cares of the world and discuss arts and science with your male friends. At least that is what history tells us, make your own mind up.

This palace is truly beautiful, as is the other palaces and buildings at Sanssouci Park. It is impossible to see everything in one day. I recommend getting timed tickets on the internet, but you MUST be in line at the entrance at the time on...More

Easter is a big deal in Germany, they could be closed. But then a lot of people have holiday then and it would make sense for them to be open. The only way you will know for sure is to email them.
