We were lucky to snag an English speaking behind the scenes tour. So much more fascinating to hear some of the stories on this tour.

A great new place is a distinctive idea. Excellent for teaching breakfast and adults about his city and major cities in the world. A great effort and a place to work and to meet pictures and buy things to remember. Clean and orderly and there...More
Even though I was not into model trains as a little boy my heart skipped a beat here. What a lovely place. You can spend hours here gazing at all these trains and the landscapes. You need all your senses to enjoy this attraction. There's...More
The miniatures them selves are amazing and really worth seeing. However there are no clear instructions for people to slowly keep moving forward so it was impossible to see everything when someone was blocking the same spot for 15 minutes straight.
We went there to see the srt. Its so cool to see how they have built it, its extreamly detailed and look-a-like for other citys! We walked around, but after 45min we have had enough, the place was crowded with people!
An amazing experience! A great place to visit for all ages! The details are incredible, the amount of work that must have been put to creating this Miniature wonderland is daunting. Will try to visit Hamburg again and would definitely revisit here!
There are only few places to sit. The viewing the exhibits is OK for children by and bigger persons through the construction of the exhibits. But with wheelchairs it might be difficult.
But why not call there and ask?

44 parking spaces have been reserved directly in front of the Miniatur Wunderland building. The parking fee is 1.50 € per hour. This helps us to cover the costs at least to a small extent. Please note that during peak times, we can't guarantee that there will always be parking spaces available. There are some alternatives around, even though they are more expensive than our parking lot. You will surely find some parking space in the surrounding area, but it might take a while and it will not be free of charge. That's why we recommend our visitors to use the public transportation system.
