The planetarium Hamburg is one of the most attractive places in Hamburg. If you are interested in watching stars it is THE place. The programme is phantastic and it offers the best equipment for astronomical discoveries. Enjoy the day.

Sat down in really comfy seats and listened to my headset with English voice over. Very informative. The seats were so comfy I snoozed for a minute at the end. Highly recommend

There are limited shows which offer an audio translation for non-German speakers, and to receive a headset you must present a passport! This is a good way for locals to spend spare time, but I do not recommend it as a destination for foreigners. The...More

The website was only available in German, which made it hard to research in advance for us non-German speakers. Only one show per day is child-suitable, and we'd missed that. The actual planetarium is free to enter, but there's not much to see. Most of...More

They have several shows aimed at different audiences and some 3-D movies too, so it is hard to answer. Some of the shows are very simple and I think 10-12 year olds will find those interesting. Their shows and times can be... More

actually, without booking a show, you won´t be able to access to the main hall - in the entrance area are nice displays you might want to look at - but I would book a show.
