So the Reeperbahn is known to be a not so nice of a street, and that is true. Pretty dirty and in the evening hookers walk the streets. Sex shops abound and I do not recommend taking children there.

Perfect for stags - wouldn't personally come here with the other half. Lots of bars to choose from and all open quite late but quite a seedy place.

I would like to recommend this to everyone who seeks a party. On the Reeperbahn everyone can find a place for their own taste, as it is loaded with variety. Being so charming, I'd even compare it to the nightly streets of Amsterdam, really a...More

We remember Reeperbahn as being a fun place. This was during our last visit 18 years ago. What a big disappointment when we visited today. The place is dirty with rubbish, plenty of homeless people around. Loads of places closed and out of business.

If you like the red light district of Amsterdam, then you will like this place. Reeperbahn Street doesn't sleep. After enjoying your night in this district, you can go to the Hamburg market for early breakfast around 5am. You can also do your market there...More

I do not believe that this location in Hamburg is anything more than a FORMER red light district. Today it is filled with perhaps to some unsavory. A tourist bus delight. From what I have seen there is a police force that... More
