St. Pauli to me was synonymous with Hamburg from my teenage years as a vibrant neighbourhood in a city where The Beatles first made their mark musically. My wife and I were on the "Hop On Hop Off" Bus yesterday and we made two trips...More

A must see area of Hamburg. Hard to believe for a westerner. Saw many couples wandering around. There is a pretty good .99 bar here as well as Beattles Platz.

This is a great area for hanging out, eating and drinking. There are a lot of cafes, bars and going-out-places.

St. Pauli neighborhood is definitely one of a kind and deserves a visit just for that. You can enjoy the street art and the very unique local characters. Good bars and some very interesting buildings also

This place comes alive at night. Lots of bars and restaurants in this area. You can stroll around the place or just park yourself at one of the bars or restaurants .

It had a bad reputation for many years, but today it is a safe and interesting area to walk around. Best seen after dark when the local characters seem to come to life. There is still the street just for men at Herbertstrasse.

There are very limited tickets on sale on the day it's best to contact the stadium and arrange what tickets you need. The ground is about a 15 minute walk from the Reeperbahn. Have fun.
