The Reeperbahn has to be one of the dirtiest, sleaziest and scummy area's I have visited. The whole area is full of pick pockets and prostitutes. I was there with 2 mates and everytime you walk down the road from bar to bar groups of scanky women/girls approach you offering sex. One of them even tried to distract my mate... More

Dirty, seedy, dangerous, and the best few days you will ever have! The bars are great, there's something for everyone, English, Irish even Scandinavia bars. Now I'm then, Hookers, brass, prostitutes, what ever you call them, again there's something for everyone, it's clean and good quality, be aware once in their room they will go through your pockets to see... St Pauli represents the most lively part of Hamburg being both historical and hang out with many pubs and discs. This is famous for its red light part also. A must see in Hamburg

We stayed in the this area during our 2 nights in Hamburg and had a great time. There are lots of shops and restaurants close by with the Repperbahn being only 15 minutes walk away. This is the best place to stay if you wish to enjoy the cities nightlife.

Attractive place in Mitte borough, on the right bank of Elbe river. We saw the historical St Paul's Church, went gallivanting at Reeperban, strolled along Landungsbrucken admiring Hamburg port. Many types of restaurants and cafes around. Just enjoy

Casinos, Bars, Theatres... It used to be better, but it's still a place to visit, if you are in the city!

If you are in Hamburg then of course you will have to go to St.Pauli/Kiez. The former red light district is now full of bars and "cheap" bars with bad music (Schlager, pop or edm) and a lot of crapy decors (bright lights and colors). We did a guided tour with "zarter Fabian" from Olivia Jones about the change of... More

The district was created for the sailors so that they could do all the nasty things the sailors did outside of the city. Now St. Pauli is the place where the poorer citizens live and where the nightlife has its bloom. It was a great experience to me.
