I lived in Hamburg for 4 years, walking in this area is one of the most suggestive things. I really love the buildings, the colors and the feeling it gives. Nearby you have also the miniature wunderland, the dungeon and the elb Philharmonie. You shouldn’t...More

You should definetely see this as part of your Hamburg visit as it is important part of the history. There is a cafe and some museums but generally the architecture is special

This is an interesting space to wander around. We had coffee in one spot and dinner in another - the architecture is fascinating.

Let's have a nice walk among this district. The architecture is incredible (for an architect even more !). Don't miss the Philharmonie.

Walk around nicely built buildings. Fun to see if you love well designed architecture. Near miniature museum and many bus stops, restaurants.

This district is a must-see, one of the many things Hamburgers can be proud of. Unlike Venice, where tourism is the only economic activity, the Hamburg warehouse district is a vibrant part of the city, full of various businesses, cafes, restaurants, and residential flats. It's...More

I don’t think you can go to Hamburg and not have a walk round the w’house district. Some of the buildings are really old & very picturesque. Be brave, go off the beaten track. It’s worth it!

Camping Buchholz looks to be as close as you can get and that is not in the city centre, but like previous advice said, try to park outside Hamburg and use a hostel.
