This theater chooses interesting plays and the performances are consistently excellent. There is really not a bad seat in the house. The front rows of the "cheaper" section on the lower level are still terrific seats. I have also sat in the back row and...More

You want to see good English-speaking theatre in Frankfurt? Head straight for The English Theatre. I have never been disappointed after seeing one of its productions. The acting is up to West End or Broadway standards and the theatre itself is small enough (300 people)...More

I can't say enough great things about the performance of Jekyll & Hyde. I just don't know where to begin. The acting and singing far exceeded my expectations for this small theatre. The lead actor going back and forth in one song from character to...More

We visited "Jekyll and Hyde" at the English Theatre in Frankfurt. The performance was far better than we have expected and the theatre itself was great as well. Thanks for a great evening!

Jekyll & Hydea at the English Theatre in Frankfurt not to be missed. Drama, music, comedy and fantastic solo and ensemble singing. Not to be missed, full house and standing ovation on night we went.

For the music lovers, they have great shows! We watched Dr. Jekyll and Hyde, very emotional and impressive! My friend and I both love it! It's relatively a small theater but with cozy atmosphere. No super fancy settings or stage, but the actors were excellent!...More

this place is the only English speaking theatre in Frankfurt, therefore it is the best. But that does not mean anything. I have seen far better productions on off-off-off Broadway for less money, better actors... If you really have nothing better to do in your...More

If you don't speak (or like) German, this is the place to go if you happen to find yourself in Frankfurt and wanting to watch some theatre. The place is centrally located and the performers are usually very good, which will make for a nice...More

I would think an EU student ID would do the trip in any event, but to be sure, why not ask the theater instead of here? Their website has a box office address.
