This lovely building is situated in a busy modern area of Frankfurt, with many bars and restaurants in the vicinity and is easily accessible by the metro. Take a stroll here and stay for a drink or dinner.

Very impressive Opera House located in the middle of the city. There is very big open Platz in front of the building.

lovely building, sadly nothing on during our visit which is a shame as we do like to take in an opera on our city breaks.

The exterior of the building is classical and regal. The concert hall has been updated and the acoustics are excellent. We attended a concert and it was a wonderful experience.

Even though rebuilt, it is impressive and well done. We enjoyed the beauty of the place and we wished we could have attended an opera here.

Wonderful structure - could only peek in the entryway through the ticket window. Tours are available for parties over 12, and booked in advance.

Was given tickets our first week of a 5 month stay here in Germany from our son to see Diana Krall! This place is incredible! The sound was spectacular and she was at her best! Will definitely go back again while here!

Hi John I see others have answered. I thought I saw some publicity about it while I was in Frankfurt. Sounds like it will be a wonderful few days. Have fun and safe travels.

Hi! If the concert is inside the opera, then I would definitely recommend wearing something chic. Not necessarily a tie, but a shirt and blazer will do! Hope I could help. Have fun at the concert!
