Stumbled across this place, it's right near the film museum. All sorts of interesting bits of tech to browse around. Not for thrill seekers. It's a museum that will appeal to a techie type. Take some photos of those sheep made out of old phones.

The exhibition that I saw was on the golden ratio. It was full of information, insights and examples. (It explains why the 3x5 note card is close to perfection. Highly recommend it for grownups and kids (there were about 40 middle schoolers there the day...More

I recently visited Frankfurt with my family. I have to say I wasn't particularly enthused at my husband's choice of a museum. However, I went along and was pleasantly surprised. Information was displayed quite clearly. We had a pushchair with us and were able to...More

My nephew and I both really enjoyed this museum. They had telecommunications, radio, TV and the history of the mail service. They have a neat hands-on exhibit of how a rotary phone works where you dial one phone from the other. For my nephew, who...More

It was an interesting place .. In the first I thought the whole area is great because the street in front of the riverside is full of museums and parks. It's very small but interesting place.

This small museum has a few interesting things in it but impossible to understand anything that is explained there because its all in German, naturally! It would have been nice to have had subtitles to the videos in this day and age, but hey, the...More

Permanent exhibit (in the basement) in the basement has German-only signs. Rent an English audio guide for 1.50 Euros at the information desk on that floor. Audio guide takes 1 to 1.5 hours. (I'm a thorough museum visitor, so if you're not, maybe you'll skip...More

Looks at all aspects of communication from the invention of writing to the modern internet. Huge numbers of exhibits. Also had an interesting exhibition on advertising, and also a cool exhibition on letters in a bottle.

Interesting place for techies. Most text in German, with it being in Germany, I wasn't surprised. Lots to see. Depending on the exhibition on, you will enjoy an hour or two here.
