There are 3 floors but the basement is the best. Amazing, enormous permanent exhibition in German and English. Very well done.

The Communication Museum, a short walk from the Stadel (highly recommended), was an unexpected delight. The permanent collection downstairs is the treasure. It houses displays covering everything from cuneiform to lost hand-written letters to missed communication on the Titanic to switchboard operators to people today...More

Stumbled across this place, it's right near the film museum. All sorts of interesting bits of tech to browse around. Not for thrill seekers. It's a museum that will appeal to a techie type. Take some photos of those sheep made out of old phones.
