We enjoyed our ride up the Nerobergbahn. At the top there is a nice restaurant, an beautiful orthodox church and a complex of ziplines/high ropes courses. And great views of Wiesbaden. Walking down is a short walk through forest. Good family activity

Simple review. Don't visit on a Saturday. It's an all day wedding venue. But really worth the walk up the hill, if you can't get on the train. Amazing hill top views, memorials, the Russian Orthodox Church, and the weird ancient spiral auditorium. The water...More

A very unique way of getting to the best Wiesbaden vistas. Do as Kaiser Wilhelm II did. 3,50€ and you can glide to a restaurant on Neroberg. Founded in 1888 its still an atraction. Or visit the famous Opelbad. Public swimming pool. Very popular. Find...More

This is a really short trip and it offers some good views of the city. The history of the funicular is fascinating and the fact that it is powered only by water is quite remarkable. I took it both ways but if i had had...More

Been visiting this place since childhood and is still in great condition. I like riding to the top and go to the Catholic Orthodox Church and then get refreshments back at the top. Great views of the city and historical sites.

Great ride to the top of a hill to oversee the city. Not much to do on the top of the hill as it is a good hike to see the Russian Orthodox church and to enjoy the restaurant . Bring your walking shoes if...More

I took the furnicular on a hot afternoon when the crowd was thin. It's the best way to go up and down the Neroberg hill. The cool breeze and greenery was delightful. The furnicular is powered by some water principle although I'm not exactly sure...More

Great little find and way to access Neroberg rather than drive up. The funicular is operated by water and it was fascinating to see it fill up and empty. A lovely little journey through the shade of the trees to the top of the mountain....More
