I agree with the rest of the reviews! This church is definitely worth of visit. This church suffered a lot of damage during World War II as did much of Hannover. Very beautiful inside and architecturally interesting.

Hannover's main Lutheran church. It was built in the 14th century as told by the locals. It's generally made of bricks; the spire is actually intimidating when seen up close. The church was badly damaged during WWII but thankfully reconstructed as close as possible to...More

Large but simple decorated church. I had the luck that the organ was playing. I sat there and enjoyed the organ for half an hour. Really great.

This is a typical large Lutheran church. Impressive without being ornate. The display of different Christmas cribs from around the world in December (2016) was excellent.

We went inside in March - a beautiful building. Local visitors described the interior for us as we don't speak German.

This is one of the must-sees in Hannover. A lovely church with a brickstone interior and a very remarkable organ. You can see it almost everywhere in the old part of town, so it is difficult to miss. The altar features a lovely trytichon -...More

Walk from Central Station through the market area. The structure is red bricks old and nostalgic. Surrounded by old architectural buildings. This is worth a visit to just absorb how the city would have looked ages ago. Walk around. Click pictures. Go inside n pray....More
