Roaming through the Treasury is a worthwhile excursion to go along with the Aachen Cathdral tour. Many statues, silvercrafts, etc., from the time of Charlemagne up through the 19th century are available for view.

Very interesting. Paying extra (2 €) you can rent audioguides in many languages. Stunning reliquary and religious art works. No toilet. Only facilities: in the Church courtyard 0.50 € p.p.

Some amazing treasures Well worth the entry fee. Easy access to all floors. Very few labels in English, so a guidebook is useful.

I loved seeing all the relics. This treasury had a great collection of things and seeing it was so cheap, it is definetly worth taking a look here :) it won’t take you very long, but it is definitely a must see

For just €5 a person you can visit the treasury and drool at the sheer amount of gold there is on display. There's a locker area just inside the door to leave your bag, belongings in etc. You can hire a audio guide for €3,...More

Unbelievable trove of historic artefacts from the cathedral in Aachen that was constructed in about 800 so that’s a long time to collect items. Charlemagne ordered the cathedral built and it is Roman Catholic now.
