This place certainly gives kids a grand time. The variety of animals is impressive and you know that they are very well taken cared of. One needs about half a day to see everything. Definitely worth the entrance fee!

This is a relatively small zoo but an excellent one! When I visited the China Light Festival was still ongoing, which was pretty interesting and was an added extra thing to see on my trip around. The gift shop here was really good! The zoo...More

For 19€ I was very impressed. Such a huge variety and many of the popular animals. As a former keeper, I’m always very critical about enclosures and animals. The enclosures here were great, lots of enrichment is provided, animals all looked to be in good...More

As we were with our small children in Cologne, decided to visit this zoo. It is huge, but not so exotic like in India. There are many animals like camel, chimpanzees, tiger, cheetah, lions, bear, hippos, giraffes, humboldt penguins, elephants etc. We were very lucky...More

Putting aside the ethical questions about zoos this is a fabulous example with all the animals in large bespoke settings with lots to do. The themed settings are reminiscent of Busch Gardens in Florida. Wide range of animals inc Apes,Big cats, reptiles and a separate Aquarium....More

This is a large, well laid-out zoo with many attractions and an unbelievable collection. Many trails and exhibits and some well designed buildings (the Hippodome was especially inventive). The animals are close and active and the behaviors of most lack the patterned behaviors that animals...More

It was very good quality of food at a very reasonable price. For two meals of cheeseburger and chips and two drinks we paid probably $20 or so.
