Very beautiful building also inside the glass windows are art. Not sure why other cities managed to keep the maintenance on there iconic buildings up to date (maybe not spain and Italy) but the outside is just black. Surely german efficiency could find a way...More

We just went to Cologne to see the Cathedral and it was definitely worth it....stand back and look up...it is magnificent. Sit there and take in the atmosphere of one of the best churches in Europe....you will not be disappointed.

Yes there is a rail which goes to the TOP. you can pause and rest where you can witness a big bell and the view from the top. As some one mentioned it is a long slog but worth it All the best.

If you only want to see the Cathedral it shouldn't take you more than 2 hours. It is a very beautiful place, If you have time you should pay a visit.
