The museum houses an impressive collection of paintings. On the top floor there is impressionism, with painters like Manet, Monet, and Gauguin. A floor below, there are magnificent landscapes by the Dutch masters, Cuyp, Van Ruisdael, and others. And a household by Jan Steen. Another...More

This museum houses a unique collection of medieval art from the Netherlands snd Germany. The wall text is particularly informative and the works are in excellent condition.

If you are in Cologne for the day, visit. Don't make a special trip for this museum. It is nicely arranged, but nothing special

My wife and I went to this museum on a recommendation and I am really glad we did! The collection has several world-famous pieces and the displays are very well organized with good lighting.

This museum was a surprise. I spent more time here and enjoyed it more that I thought. The collection focuses on northern European art from the 1400s till the modern.
