Fabulous place to visit with the kids!! Very interesting Das Maus (Mouse) hall with different type of attraction for kids (rope park, climbing house, movie making area, drawing and more..) Our kids loved the exhibition about Water, Fire, Air and Earth, very knowledgeable and informative.

I visited Odysseum with a good a friend from the US and her young daughter. At first I was concerned that both of them not speaking german might be a problem. But previous reviews had convinced me otherwise. And to sum it up: We had a wonderful day. The displays, experiments and attractions are all intuitive, most of them also... More

As my children and I don't speak German I was worried that we might not fully enjoy our visit, however I was wrong. My 7 and 9 year old kids loved it!! It is both very interactive and interesting with all the displays in English. The space room kept them and me occupied for ages. We were there for about... More

I was in Germany for business and stopped in Cologne to see this exhibition. I have commented previously about the Sistine Chapel exhibit in Montreal which was bad so I was curious about this one. As bad as Montreal was, this is WORSE! The organizers have clearly no idea about how to show art. Is is apparent that this show... More

You will be amazed how much there is still to be learnt about nature and physics - even by adults, this is a great spot to visit for families when being in Cologne

We went there as a family with three kids and had a great day. The food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. What my kid probably enjoyed most was that they had the opportunity to make a short animation movie, but also the rest of the museum is very interactive and educative. I liked that the expositions were... More

We spent a great afternoon here with something for all the family. There is a science room with hands on exhibits, lots to do and look at for everyone. Then an earth room, again informative and interesting. Also a room more for younger children featuring a well known German mouse. And a scary rope walk for the more adventurous. Well... More

Even though it's a "kids" science museum, there is plenty that adults can do, too! I was there with a group and we didn't even get to all the rooms in the time that we had allotted. It was so much fun that we really could have spent many more hours there!

- = a little on the pricey side And more difficult to get to by public transport - 150 bus stops outside. +'s our 7 year old had great fun. The science museum is mainly in German (as it should be) but there was plenty for her to do and really hands on. Avoid peak times like the plague as... More
