Every first Sunday of the month, the museum opens its doors for art and breakfast, from 10 a.m. Generally open Tuesday to Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m., first Thursday of the month until 10 p.m.

The first are of exhibition is about innovation in relation to household furniture and goods. From here, head up to the next floor which contains a number of displays of Meissen, other brands of porcelain, glassware, old-style furniture and jewellery.

An interesting collection of applied art covering designs of glass, ceramics, jewellery, furniture, etc. from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Well worth a visit.
