We visited this perfume museum believing we were going to see something more than what we saw. The guide was very nice, but it's a short visit. The fragrance is good.

I went for the historical English tour as I had some time to spend while in Cologne. The location doubles as both a Farina fragrance shop, and a museum. While the tour takes place, the store closes as the tour starts upstairs, and makes its way downstairs. The tour lasts 45 minutes, which was very informative about the family history... More

It was interesting hearing the story of Eau de Cologne. 45 minutes, with a small sample of eau de toilette to take away.

This was recommended to me by a guy in the Tourist office and was a good choice. Tim gave a comprehensive talk about how Carina developed his perfume. For 5 euros and the talk and tour took nearly an hour I thought it was very good value and loved the gift at the end

I went there with my fiance yesterday, and it was really a great experience. The museum itself, well decorated, clean, and during the tour session, the guide himself explained it in a really funny way. We love it for sure!

We booked tickets online ahead of time for a tour in English, and we're glad we did! The tour was informative and unique, given by a tour guide playing the role of Farina. He gave interesting facts about the history of perfume, his own life, and how his "eau de cologne" was invented and came into popularity. The tour included... More

We loves visiting this museum/shop! It was so interesting to find out about the history of 'eu de cologne' - the history and store was so interesting AND you can shop for gorgeous little gifts!

Stopped-in for a quick visit, left with some bottles of their original cologne because I want to smell like Bill Clinton. My girlfriend was interested in the history. Fun little place that's worth a visit.

I really loved this museum and spent an enjoyable hour or so here. The guide Tim provided a concise but interesting overview of the house of Farina and what made it a powerhouse in Europe. I loved the history component and the original location but the best part was smelling different scents and talking about perfumes and how these work.... More

We really did not know what to expect for 5 Euros. However, this turned out to be a fun and quirky attraction and we enjoyed it very much. We booked the 50-minute tour in advance (several languages are available). A funny guy called Tim was out guide. The tour started on the top floor of the house with some history... More
