Nice statue at the Old Town of Dusseldorf with a lot of history. It's actually the oldest statue of the city.

The oldest statue in Dusseldorf. Nice to check it out, but nothing special at all. You can't miss it if you are walking in the old town.

It is a nice statue in the center of old town. There is seating next to the statue that is electronic and changes colors. You also have bars and shops next to it if you'd like to grab a bite to eat while viewing.

This equestrian statue is the oldest in Dusseldorf and has a stately location by the Rathaus (city hall). The rider is Prince Jan Wellem, an important diplomat. This Baroque statue is worth checking out if you're in the Old Town.

This is a famous statue in Duesseldorf. It is a must to visit. The "Rosenmontag" parade is passing this statue as well.

Why this statue is taken reviewed in isolation, when there is a review for the square that includes it, I do not know. But for a statue its nice, and there is a lot of history behind it, but beyond a look and taking a photograph, there is little else to do with it.

The statue of Jan Wellem along with the Rathaus make the core of the Atlstadt. The statue is really well kept. If you stroll the old town you will definitely come across it.

Just at the Rathaus, in the middle of the Old City you will find this statue. It is for Jan Wellem, who did a lot for Düsseldorf. THe square where it stands normally very quiet and the surrounding building s are also very interesting.

One of the many symbols of Dusseldorf, this statue its a thank you from the people of the area to the work done by the archduke Jan Wellem. Its a statue where the archduke is in full armor on a horse and its surrounded by a small fence just in the middle of the Old Town. The statue was done... More
