It was so beautiful. Standing on the edge of the falls was one of a unique experience. The restaurant nearby serves delicious dishes.

I thought Germany was more of an industrial hub but when I visited this place I was taken aback by its sheer beauty. The cruise is truly worth it and don't forget to bring your camera else you will regret it. ;)

This morning we are docked in the middle of the Moselle wine region at Bernkastel, a charming wine village with narrow streets, half-timbered houses, and a beautiful marketplace. We strolled past unique shops and inviting cafes - sampling something from each! Back on the ship for an afternoon sail (and nap!), we continued up-river and enjoyed many beautiful sights. The... I booked my cruise thru a travel agent and not thru Viking. As I review the paperwork in preparation for our cruise I have questions. Each time an issue comes up, the phone representatvie at Viking tells me to speak with my travel agent (The Travel Agent isn't always available). The information provided on the web site fails to be... More

This trip was over the top. It began in Amsterdam where we had added on 2 nights prior to the cruise (completely worth it; what a great city). Then once you board the cruise you are taken care of for 8 straight days. Viking includes extras like beer and wine at lunch and dinner as well as an excursion at... More

I was fully prepared not to like this cruise and less than enthusiastically prepared for it. Upon arrival on board the ship I was grudgingly impressed with our stateroom. It was large and comfortable with a Juliet balcony and internet access. The bed and linens were plush and inviting. The meal seatings were not fixed but the majority of people... More

We booked the 5 day/ 4 night New Year cruise with Shearings, booking procedure and information excellent. We had paid extra for a larger ( one of only 4 ) cabin and it was worth it, some cabins are tiny. Unfortunately the shower room was minute, the shower was just over the toilet so when having a shower the toilet... More

Treasures of the Main and Rhine with AmaWaterways My fourth cruise with AmaWaterways and I can never get enough of them. I have travel in my blood and AmaWaterways always deliver. There are other river cruise lines operating in Europe and to be fair, their ships and itineraries look good, but this cruise line sets a higher standard and the... More
