Worth looking

A beautiful old church. More fabulous stained glass windows. Interior was elegant yet simple architecture. Certainly worth stopping and looking inside.

This simplicity of this church makes it memorable. The interior is stark white with lovely deep rose/red trim outlining the vault. Simple wooden pews and altar make for a very serene scene. Lovely stained glass windows stand out against the=at white interior. You cannot miss this church, as the belltowers are seen from all over the city as it is... More

If you are downtown Koblenz, you cannot miss it. It is situated in the centre and the towers are visible from all corners. One tower is missing the clock, but it is a show case inside the church. The entry is very small and low. The gothic church inside is rather simple, but the cross above the altar is something... More

The Liebfrauenkirche dates back to the 5th century. The church had been converted and extended several times using the original foundations the chancel was built around 1404 but the Baroque dome towers date from 1693. It was beautiful.

One of a few beautiful old churches in Koblenz. We stepped in real quick to take a peak. Pretty easy to get to walking around the town, it's right off a main square.

The entrance is not very obvious but it is right off the town square. Beatiful stained glass windows and small family chapels. The church is surrounded by buildings on all sides so you cannot really take in the whole structure but it is worth the visit.

The Liebfrauenkirche (The Church of Our Lady) is found in the in Altstadt (Old Town) area of Koblenz, while I would not go to Koblenz specifically to visit this church, if you are in Koblenz then it is certainly worth a visit. It is a light and airy church that has a long history although it has been restored with... More

A wonderfully restored 13th century church with twin towers capped by onion-shaped spires. There is very interesting stained glass in a narrow sanctuary. Good place to get away from the Christmas Market crowds

Gorgeous and peaceful church. Fabulous stained glass from circa 1955 to replace that which was destroyed in 1944. The church dates from the seventeenth century and is a perfect place for quite contemplation.

Outstanding stained glass in a very high and very narrow sanctuary. Interesting, but I would not walk out of my way to visit this church.
