My class climbed up here on our trip in Dresden and there's a nice view of the Altstadt. There wasn't anything spectacular about it, but if you're in the city you should visit.

The sun was setting and the temperature dropping so this was probably not the best time to visit this spot. It has benches to sit on, tress to offer shade if you need it and a break from the busy area of Old Town. It is worth a stroll over there to see it. It is convenient to all of... More

We were there in the winter, so it was not as exciting as it would be in the summer, but it seems to be a very nice place when the weather is good.

An interesting river view but there seems to be a lack of vibrancy that you find in many other European riverside locations. We walked up the steps to higher levels of the terrace - that was lovely on a warm October morning (might be hot in summer). The garden area here is pretty in parts and well maintained. We couldn't... More

You simply can't miss the terrace and being wowed by the buildings along the terrace. We were there on a cold, super windy and rainy day but the crowd was not deterred as the view was breathtaking! We went back on the second day and lingered again despite worse weather. Have to return soon on a sunny day to admire... More

We recently spent a few days in Dresden and found the famous Brühl's Terrace a nice place to see even during the winter months when the trees which line sections of the terrace bare and devoid of leaves. Brühl's Terrace stretchs along the south side of the Elbe, separating the river from the Historic City Centre. It is an architectural... More
